The investor, whose name has not yet been disclosed, has asked the Romanian authorities to help find a compact plot of at least 70 hectares. It also needs utilities and, very importantly, the investor asks to be close to the highway and the railway.

The investment is aimed at a factory where 2,000 people will work, so in the city or nearby towns and villages there must be available workforce.

Several Alba administrations have responded to the request, hoping they will attract the investment.

Targeted by the investor are cities in the Central Region, which have received this request, but those in Alba seem to have greater chances due to the conditions related to the proximity of highways and railways. (source: alba24.ro)
