The industrial park has a total area of 24 hectares and will be built with an investment of nearly EUR 4.2 million. The park officials expect 15 investors in total and 2,000 new jobs.
"There are currently seven companies in the High-Tech Industry Park in Craiova that want to invest 6.1 million Euros and create 625 jobs. Fields of activity range from paper manufacture, leather goods or garments manufacture to software development activities. All residents will build their own production facilities", said Carmen Motoi, Chief Commercial Officer of the Industrial Park.
The names of the companies that will invest in the High-Tech industrial park are Demiuma Comimpex SRL, AA Tehnic SRL, Onerom Impex SRL, Printgolden Media Design SRL, Fred Online SRL, Craipack Commercial SRL and Softrom Grup SRL, according to the company's information.
"The companies have leased eight plots, the surface of which amounts to about 5 hectares. Most companies are in the process of developing technical documentation to obtain building permits".
Hight-Tech Industry Park Craiova SA, the company that owns the industrial park, has provided an investment program worth 19 million lei, investments that will be made from own sources and from European funds.
The development of the park is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2018 and until now some of the works have been carried out at the utility grid connections and the access roads for the parcels that have been leased.
The land parcels within the industrial park are rented through a public tender, and the minimum monthly rental price is 0.45 lei / sqm (0.1 euro / sq m) without VAT, according to the company's data.
High Tech Industry Craiova is owned by Hight-Tech Industry Park Craiova SA, whose share is divided between Dolj County (99.90%) and Parc Industrial Craiova S.A. (0.10%). Parc Industrial Craiova S.A., with activities in renting and sub-renting of real estate, achieved in 2016 a turnover of 530,000 Euros and profit of about 6,000 Euros, according to the Ministry of Finance website.
