"We have already purchased the 20 hectares of land and started the necessary construction operations. The development that we have planned in Craiova will be a copy of the one from Roman, aiming to serve the entire southern part of the country, Bulgaria, Serbia, and the other countries of the former Yugoslavia. We expect deliveries to begin in May 2018", said businessman Marcel Barbuţ, the owner of AdePlast.

Simultaneously with the development in Craiova, AdePlast plans to build a new polystyrene production hall in Oradea, on an area of 2,800 square meters, already acquired, which is on the site of the former Chimprestor plant.

Also, the company is considering a new production facility in Cluj-Napoca, for which the search for a land of about 4-5 hectares started.
In Ploiesti, AdePlast will open a new production line for polystyrene for sloping roofs and underfloor heating systems. The current paint warehouse will be relocated to a new facility and the production line will be installed in the remaining space.

AdePlast recorded a 20% increase in turnover in the middle of the year and exports had a 136% increase over the same period.
AdePlast is one of the most important manufacturers of building materials in Romania, with three industrial platforms located in Oradea, Ploiesti and Roman. (source: mediafax.ro)
