The company has invested USD 58 million in the current plant and it plans investments worth USD 9 million for 2015, said Bogdan Dimitriu, Plant Manager for Federal-Mogul Motorparts.

 

“Federal Mogul has a rapid growth here in Ploiesti, we have the support of local authorities and specialized workforce,” said Quentin Lorthiois, general manager Wipers Emea & Asia Pacific.

 

The new unit will operate together with the brake systems factory owned by the company in Ploiesti.

 

The new plant will have about 300 employees by 2016, bringing the Ploiesti campus to 600 employees. In November 2014, Federal-Mogul opened an office in Bucharest, with a staff of 100. (source: Romania-insider.com)
