The robotic warehouse is located in the logistics center of Autonet, near Bucharest, in Popeşti-Leordeni, and was developed by a Norwegian firm. Unlike regular storage logistics systems that only use 40-50% storage capacity, AutoStore uses space totally.

The Autonet AutoStore module has a footprint of 3,000 square meters and includes 80,000 storage compartments, the supply and delivery of products is made by 65 robots.
The AutoStore system, built by the German company Element Logic, has 15 supply and delivery points with nearly 7,000 command lines each hour. Thus, 80% of the orders coming from the distribution center in Popeşti-Leordeni are processed through AutoStore.
Due to its modular structure, the entire AutoStore system, both the storage side and the robots, can be expanded at any time.

In the years to come, a new AutoStore warehouse will be built to help develop the logistics network of the company that currently serves its customers in Romania through 66 warehouses. (source: satumareonline.ro)
