The shareholders will meet on March 4th in order to establish the minimum price for the sale of all the assets owned in Podari, Mediafax writes.

In July last year, Cargill announced to have completed the sale of the oil trademarks Untdelemn de la Bunica and Olpo as well as part of the equipments to Expur, the branch of the French company Sofiprotéol, and that the factory in Podari would be closed.

At that moment, the company has mentioned that the transaction is part of the group’s strategy to exit the oil market in Romania and to focus on the growth and development of its agricultural operations.

In 2012, Cargill Oils registered 343.7 million lei turnover, with 9.5% growth compared to 2011, and three times bigger losses, reaching 8.9 million lei. (source: wall-street.ro)
