The new warehouse is based on a concept adapted for the courier industry. It can support an additional increase in volume, while maintaining the highest quality standards for customer service: parcels are handled more efficiently, and couriers are helped to optimize their operations on the route.

The warehouse in Buzau has an operational area of 1,385 sqm, to which is added the 280 sqm space dedicated to offices. Due to the drive-in ramps and gates, the warehouse has a cross-docking model, which allows the processing of a wide range of weights and volumes and the faster unloading and loading of vehicles. Thus, Cargus offers both couriers and customers a high quality of services, as a result of improved time performance and flexible options for entry and exit of couriers. The end result is faster quality deliveries.

The structure also includes a Ship & Go point, the Cargus concept created as an integrated home delivery option for customers. In the new format, the Ship & Go point incorporated in the warehouse offers customers a unified image for the Cargus services provided from pick-up to delivery.

The warehouse in Buzau involved an investment of 500,000 euros, which includes the execution of the design and the technical capabilities that allow the efficiency of operations. Therefore, Cargus continues its expansion plans, after the opening of the CTP Dragomiresti and Timisoara warehouses. The new warehouse is located in the peripheral area of Buzau, with quick access to both the city and the areas it serves, the company also taking into account environmental aspects in the decision on its location.
