The result is in line with the dynamics of the business, set up five years ago, when the company started the financial and operational restructuring strategy, reads a press release.

 

In the first three months of the year, the company’s gross turnover grew by 58 percent against the same period of 2014, due to the sale of finished products.

 

Also in this period, the sales’ value dynamics was superior to the volume one, EVOCERAMIC ceramic blocks sales increasing by 51 percent in volume and by 68 percent in value, compared to the first quarter of the previous year.

 

For the whole current year, Cemacon aims to strengthen and develop the business by increasing its turnover by 35 percent compared to last year and an operating profit level of at least 17 percent, achieving a national market share of 18 percent and to occupy the position of market leader in Transylvania region, including Banat and Crisana.

 

Regarding the ceramic blocks market, Cemacon estimates a significant evolution, at least an additional 13-15 percent and increases in sales prices from all producers. (source: business-review.eu)
