CTP took over CTPark Bucharest from Prologis in the second half of last year, this new facility increasing the park’s built area to 130,000 sq. m.

The new facility construction is scheduled to start this month, while the completion is estimated for September 2016.

”We saw a strong interest for the 15,000 sq. m not year rented, but we think we will find tenants by the delivery”, has declared Marian Orzu, the Head of Leasing and Development department of CTP Romania.

On European level, CTP’s A class industrial properties portfolio has a rentable area of more than 3.2 million sq.m, the company targeting the increasing of this area up to 5 million sq. m by the end of 2018.

In Romania, CTP owns projects totalling 350,000 sq. m, mostly bought last year, meaning 20 pct. of the local market.

CTP is competing in Romania with P3, owned by American investment funds, Belgian Alinso or Globalworth, controlled by the businessman Ioannis Papalekas. (source: profit.ro)
