„The acquisition of these two logistics parks is part of our strategy to further grow our business and to cover all the strategic areas in Romania. Another criteria was the existing long-term lease contracts of the two important companies that rented thespaces in these parks: Delphi Packard and Inteva. We aim to be present in all the regions where the infrastructure is suited for our clients to conduct their businesses. The demand for A class industrial spaces is growing rapidly and the tenants started to understand the importance of leasing warehouses developed at the highest standards of quality. Therefore, I believe it is the ideal moment for us to accelerate the development rate by acquiring existing facilities and also constructing new ones”, explained Ana Dumitrache, Country Head of CTP Romania.

The warehouses from Ineu and Salonta were built on strict specifications and CTP will assure the best maintenance services for the current tenants of the existing facilities. Among the most important characteristics there are: high load bearing capacity of the floors of 3 tons/m² for both parks;warehouses clear height of 7,5m for Ineu and 10 m for Salonta; the roof skylights occupy 10% from the ceiling’s surface.

Along with Ineu and Salonta, CTP’s current development plans in the Western part of the country include cities like Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Turda and Deva.

“We will continue our process of expansion in the Western part of the country. I believe that this region has one of the strongest growth in the demand for industrial and logistics spaces in Romania. Also, this area has some advantages like the closeness to the Western border, the important developments of the infrastructure and the increase in the number of the electronic and IT, automotive and FMCG companies that are entering this market and looking for storage spaces”, added Mrs. Dumitrache.

Currently, CTP has parks in 10 cities around Romania, of which 7 in the Western part of the country: Arad, Cluj-Napoca, Turda, Deva, Timisoara, Ineu and Salonta. Thus, the two new park additions consolidate the company’s position as the most extended owner of industrial and logistics properties around Romania.
