BREEAM certification – which evaluates buildings according to their impact on the environment, water and energy usage, materials used, the quality of the interior environment and the custom quality necessary for effective work – is one of the most significant certifications in our industry. High-quality buildings owned and operated by CTP have long been some of the most highly-rated constructions. Of the Top 10, five of the buildings belong to CTP: one from CTPark Bor, three from Plzeň and one from CTPark Mladá Boleslav.
“We are incredibly proud of this achievement, which confirms the quality of our buildings. We count on BREEAM certification in all our new buildings that are currently under construction. As the leader in this market who cares about the environment and well-being of the people inside them, we confirm that we are dedicated to permanent sustainability. One building at CTPark Bor, one in CTPark Prestice, and another two at CTPark Plzeň received the classification grade of “Very good” by BREEAM in-Use, which confirms high standard quality and sustainability. The building in CTPark Bor is one of the five highest-rated industrial buildings in Europe. Apart from its industrial buildings, CTP has also had many accomplishments in other spheres of the business. In the past years, The Tower at Spielberk Office Centre in Brno has received the BREEAM certification of the highest possible ranking: “Outstanding.” At that moment in 2012, excluding buildings in the UK, this is the only office building with this rating in Europe.
CTP therefore continues to focus on its strategy to lower its impact on the environment. Presently, all CTParks are lowering their energy usage by utilizing LED lights throughout all in- and outdoor spaces. But also using innovations on building management systems, smart utility metering and Internet of Things (IoT) are helping to lower consumptions and to be more efficient.
