A part of the sum – EUR 550,000 – will be covered by the Norwegian Government through the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014, as part of the Innovation in Green Industry – Romania financing domain. The “Engines of efficiency through green technology” project will be implemented in the following 12 months, the project’s overall goal being to achieve a modern and environmentally-friendly production process for the manufacturing of exterior components of electrical engines (cases, shielding, etc.), through aluminum alloy pressure casting technology.

Three fully-equipped and automated pressure casting cells, their auxiliary environment and workplace protection equipment, two sandblasting systems as well as a set of tools – casting shells – will be purchased as part of the project. The investment is meant to improve the environment protection conditions in the technological process of manufacturing cast components, by lowering the consumption of energy and raw materials and the level of pollution. Thus, the investment will considerably improve work conditions and will create at least 11 environmentally-friendly jobs.
