The imports from the UK amounted to EUR 386 million in the first three months of the year, up 5.7%. Romania thus had a trade surplus of over EUR 263 million with Great Britain, up 18.5% compared to the first quarter of last year, according to data from the Ministry of Economy, cited by local Agerpres.

 

The top destinations for Romanian exports included Germany, with a share of 21.3% of the total value, Italy – 12.4%, France – 7.4%, and Hungary – 5.1%.
