“We are going to open a production unit in Romania,” confirmed Jaeggi representatives without providing any further details though.

The Swiss will build a plant in Sibiu County for which they were granted EUR 7.7 million government subsidy, almost 40 per cent of the project value. The new production unit will create refrigerator components, and is a greenfield investment, creating 132 jobs in the process.

The government provided 15 subsidies last year for projects for a cumulated amount of EUR 282 million. (source: nineoclock.ro)
