Kronospan Sebeş has the largest production capacity in the world, and every 4th European furniture item is built from Kronospan elements.

The new line has been completely automated and has unique equipment on the Romanian market.
With the completion of this investment, the Kronospan Sebes plant is also launching the process of switching to low emission wooden panels. For the first time in Romania, a factory in the field will produce only ecological panels, a sign of responsibility to customers and the environment.

SC Kronospan Sebeş SA is part of the international group with the same name, a global leader in the wood-based panel production market. Kronospan has been present at Sebeş since 2004 with the production of particleboard (PAL) and medium density plates (MDF). Kronospan Sebeş is an important contributor to the public budget, with over 14 million lei, and one of the main local employers, with over 600 directly created jobs and about 4,000 indirect jobs.

Kronospan owns two production units in Sebes and Brasov. Kronospan's investments in Romania amounted to more than 600 million Euros over the past 19 years, employing about 800 employees and generating over 7,000 indirect jobs. (sursa: constructiv.ro)
