The company's turnover has grown steadily at an average rate of 25% per year. The investment allows the company to significantly multiply its business delivery and development capacity on a book market that is undergoing revival.

"Expansion is needed because the current location is close to reaching its maximum order processing capacity and will soon be less than the sales growth trend that we estimate," says Laura Teposu, Director of Development and Founder Libris.ro.

"The surface of the new Libris warehouse will be 5,000 square meters, 200 percent larger than the current one, and will host over 3 million books, but also new sorts that we develop, such as music, games and toys or complementary items for reading experience such as teas, writing instruments, gifts", adds Laura Teposu.

At this time, the company's maximum delivery capacity is 3,500 orders per day. In the new warehouse formula, available in 9-12 months, deliveries will increase to 10,000 -12,000 orders per day.

In the first nine months of the year, Libris.ro had a turnover of RON 22 million, 20% higher than in the similar period of 2016, while the average order online increased by 20% compared to same reference period.
