Mayor of Târgu Secuiesc, Bokor Tibor, declared on Monday that the two industrial parks in the city are covering nearly 14 ha and the investors have six available warehouses and plots for constructions, to be rented at good prices.

He added that the economy of the city is mainly based on light industry, a sector where salaries are “pretty low”, his wish being to attract investors in other fields too, such as automotive and IT, where the employees are better paid.

In order to promote the business opportunities, the city hall will soon launch the webpage www.investintargusecuiesc.com, where investors would find necessary information in Romanian , Hungarian and English.

The industrial park built in Câmpu Frumos, near Sfântu Gheorghe, in a project financed by EU funds, will be completed this month. The park occupies 16.5 ha and the rents will be set considering criteria such as rented area, level and type of investment, number of jobs created and level of salaries for employees.
