He has recently declared that discussions were held with Arctic officials which have in plan the acquisition of a plot of land in the city in order to bring some parts suppliers near the factory.

Contacted by ZF, the Arctic’s officials didn’t comment the information.

Home appliance manufacturer Arctic owns a factory in Găeşti, where 3,000 employees are working. The Turkish company intends to develop production in Romania, this being the reason for they are looking into bringing the parts producers in their proximity.

Such an investment would represent some hundreds new jobs apart those already created by investors such as  Arctic, Mairon and MecanPetrol in Găeşti. (Source: zf.ro)
