Major investment in Ghimbav's industrial future

The Madar family is embarking on a substantial €5.6 million investment project to establish a modern logistics center in Ghimbav. Spearheaded by Madex SA, this initiative marks a significant development in the region's industrial landscape. The project is strategically integrated into the urban development plan for the Ghimbav industrial zone, aligning with existing and planned infrastructure, including crucial public utility network expansions.

Unveiling a premier logistics hub: key features and benefits

The new Ghimbav logistics center is designed to be a cutting-edge facility, featuring a multi-level warehouse structure encompassing a ground floor plus two additional levels, spanning over 110,000 square meters of developed area. This extensive footprint ensures ample space for diverse logistics operations, from warehousing and distribution to last-mile delivery. The construction phase is projected to take 12 months, commencing upon the acquisition of the necessary building permits, promising a swift delivery of this vital new asset to the market.

Strategic location for optimized supply chains

Ghimbav's location offers unparalleled advantages for businesses looking to optimize their supply chains. The new logistics center will benefit from its integration into a rapidly developing industrial hub, ensuring excellent connectivity and accessibility. This strategic positioning makes it an ideal choice for companies requiring efficient distribution channels and robust storage solutions within Romania and beyond.

The visionary force: a legacy of growth and innovation

Behind this ambitious project is the enduring legacy of Florin Madar, who founded his first business, Temad, in 1994. From its humble beginnings with just four employees operating out of a garage, Temad has blossomed into a national leader. The company now boasts over 250 employees, 13 regional branches with dedicated warehouses, and a projected turnover exceeding €50 million in 2024. Temad's strategic diversification into new markets, including pet food (since 2022) and forestry products (since 2024), underscores a continuous drive for growth and innovation. This deep expertise in distribution and logistics underpins the Madar family's commitment to delivering a world-class logistics center in Ghimbav.
