Together with these plots of land, the company is also selling several warehouses and offices owned in Romania, in counties such as Timiş, Cluj or Ilfov.

„We want to confirm that currently the owners put on sale by Nestlé Romania are situated in Glina (Ilfov county), Cluj-Napoca (Cluj county) and in Bihor county. These properties represent former warehouses. The largest property is the warehouse in Glina, with an area of 6,760 sq. m. We are in negotiations for each available property, but we don’t have a dead line for the completion of the transactions“, says Raluca Radu, corporate affairs specialist within Nestlé.

According to Ziarului Financiar, these warehouses are in the company’s portfolio for nearly a decade, since the Swiss giant took over the Greek ice-cream manufacturer Delta Ice Cream, which had at that time in Romania a factory in Bucharest and several warehouses in the country. Nestlé gave up the ince-cream manufacture in Romania in 2008.

Today, the company, with turnovers of nearly 645 million lei, owns a factory in Timisoara. (source: zf.ro)
