The logistics park will include a total area of approx. 80,000 square meters of modern warehousing space.
MLP has recently signed the plot acquisition in the western outskirts of Bucharest, near Chitila, for the future MLP Bucharest park, a detailed land development plan being currently in preparation.
MLP Bucharest logistics park will be directly accessible from the Bucharest bypass and will be located between the following two European routes: E70 (national road no. 6 from Lugoj to Bucharest) and E60 (national road no. 1 from Brasov to Bucharest). The location is situated at approx. 15 minutes by car from the Bucharest Otopeni International Airport and at. Nearly 25 minutes from the city center.
The park is scheduled for opening in 2018.
“The warehousing business in Romania is clustered predominantly around Bucharest and that is why we have decided to purchase land in this particular area. We find demand for modern warehousing space on this market to be at a satisfactory level. For this reason, we are confident that our offering of warehousing facilities will generate great interest among potential tenants. Meanwhile, we continue to perceive Poland and Germany as the strategic directions of our development,” said Radosław T. Krochta, President of MLP Group S.A.
MLP Group is the leading developer of warehousing space on the Polish market. Currently, the Group operates eight logistics parks in Poland. In addition, the Group owns land plots and has signed reservation agreements to purchase new plots for its planned logistics parks. (source: MLP Group)
