The biggest growth was between 2014 and 2015 when the business in the e-commerce sector advanced with over two billion lei, according to the analysis regarding business in online commerce of the interval 2011 – 2016 made by KeysFin, a company which offers services of business information and credit management dedicated to the business environment.
The profitability of the sector advanced from 47.4 million lei in 2011 to 233.7 million lei in 2015 and for 2016 the target is of over 300 million lei, due to the increase of the interest of the Romanians for the products and services sold on the internet, the KeysFin statistics show.

The PayU payment processor announced that the edition of Black Friday of this year, which took place between 18-20 November, generated 188,000 online tradings worth 113.3 million lei, with 67% more than in 2015. The level was of 500 tradings per minute, twice more than the maximum level of last year.
The biggest tradings was 143,000 lei, an order coming from Hungary and the average value of the purchase basket was 602 lei with 6% more than the Black Friday of 2015.
The most important player on the market, according to the financial data of 2015 is the company Dante International SA with turnover of 1.7 billion lei in 2015.
In the ranking of the most important players in the Romanian online trade, depending on the turnover there is the Fashion Days ShoppingSRL (221 million lei)Studio Modena SRL (188 million lei) PayPoint Services SRL (188 milioane lei), Corsar Online SRL (173 milioane lei) and PC Garage SRL (166 milioane lei).In the ranking there were included Payzone SA (155 million lei) Teamnet Business Services (130 million lei) Euronet Services SRL (88 million lei) and Elefant Online SA (78 million lei).According to the data KeysFin the evolution of the Romanian online trading is on a growing trend at general level, sign that the trust of the Romanians in this sector was strengthened over the last years.
