"Our intention is to increase the capacity of the Mioveni plant. At present, this is 350,000 vehicles per year, and from September 2020, we will have a capacity of 400,000 cars a year", Christophe Dridi, general manager of Groupe Renault Romania said.

Only for this project, the investment is about 100 million euros.

"We are investing 75 million euros, and the government subsidy is 25 million euros. It will allow us to produce 50,000 more cars per year and employ 300 people", he added.

Groupe Renault Romania will inaugurate on June 28th the new headquarters in Bucharest. All 3,200 employees in the capital will work in the same place, as they are now splitted in five different places.
