The value of the transaction was not disclosed. Nidec Corporation, company listed to New York Stock Exchange took over 94.8 pct. shares of ANA Imep.

 

The factory, producing electric engines for washing machines, is situated in Pitesti and has ended 2014 with EUR 12.3 million turnover and EUR 360,000 profit.

 

 Copos could have received EUR 40-60 million for the sale of Ana Imep factory if he sold it in 2006 to the American company Emerson, but currently its value dropped, due to business decrease. The businessman has though refused the offer received in 200of the company was not disclosed.

 

Nidec Corporation, founded in 1973 in Kyoto, also controls in Romania the company Nidec ASI Ro in Crevedia (Dâmboviţa county), taken over indirectly by the international acquisition of the company Ansaldo in Italia.
