According to the urban permit issued last month, the Sykatec Sibiu factory will be constructed on a land of 30,900 sq. m, situated at the crossroad of the streets Salzburg and Barcelona. Siemens will have here a production unit for wagon parts, an administrative headquarters with annexes, green areas and a parking with 70 places. The land is owned by WDP Development RO SRL, the Romanian branch of the Belgian industrial developer.

 

The built area of the factory will be of nearly 8,000 sq. m, with 6,700 sq, m production and warehouse facilities.

 

Sykatec will be the third Siemens factory to open in Sibiu (source: turnulsfatului.ro)
