With an investment of 20 million euros, the unit will have a capacity of 750 cubic meters per day, with the possibility of extending to 1,250 cubic meters per day.
The financing was insured, in a proportion of 85%, through a loan contracted from Piraeus Bank.
According to the local authorities, Soceram acquired 10 hectares of land and benefited from the connection to all utilities, the main condition being that the company would hire staff from the locality.
Around 150 employees will work in the new production unit. Soceram currently owns masonry and mortar materials plants in Doicesti (Dambovita County), Urziceni (Ialomita County) and Bucov (Prahova County). (source: agendaconstructiilor.ro)
