The transaction is due to be completed in November. Eucasting Ro, a subsidiary of Eucasting in Italy, started its business in 2006, opening an aluminium foundry in Pitesti.

The company opened a second factory in Scorniceşti in 2010, where it produces aluminium parts for Bosch electric motors. According to data from the Ministry of Finance, Eurocasting Ro had a turnover of 146.75 million lei last year and a net profit of more than 22 million lei.

 Eucasting has approximately 500 employees and collaborators in Romania, and 60% of sales come from the automotive sector, followed by lighting and other industrial applications. The Swiss company GF Automotive is one of the top suppliers in the automotive industry with factories in Germany, Austria and China, as well as partnerships with US and Japanese manufacturers.
