"Since 2020, we have launched a comprehensive plan to expand our production capacity for elements dedicated to sewerage systems and we have allocated a total investment budget, in this regard, of approx. 9 million euros. By the end of last year, we have already put the first line into operation at the factory in Vrancea (Doaga), so that at the beginning of this year we will inaugurate the locations in Solca and Prejmer ", said Sebastian Bobu, Symmetrica Executive Director.

According to his statements, the factory in Solca, Suceava, is an independent production unit, dedicated only to this category of products. Located on a plot of 2 hectares, it currently has 12 employees and has attracted an investment of 2 million euros. With this inauguration, Symmetrica reaches 8 production units locally.

On the other hand, the company has allocated a budget of approx. 1.5 million euros and for the expansion of the factory in Prejmer, Brașov, with a production hall dedicated to the elements for the sewerage systems.

"The need to connect the population to the sewerage system, in the context in which data show that only 55.8% of Romania's population has homes connected to such a system, shows a high need for dedicated products. Precisely for this reason, we have focused our efforts on expanding our business in this direction as well, and in the coming months we will put into operation production lines for sewerage elements in our factories in Arad (Zimandu Nou) and Bistrița-Năsăud. (Cook) ", Sebastian Bobu underlined.

The first Symmetrica factory was inaugurated in 1999 in Vereşti, Suceava County, followed by the production units from Podu Iloaiei, Iaşi County (2010), and Bolintin Vale, near Bucharest (2011), Prejmer - Braşov (2012), Cociu - Bistriţa-Năsăud (2012), Mărășești - Vrancea (2018), Zimandu Nou - Arad (2021), Solca - Suceava (2022).
