The US company will pay EUR 146 million and the deal should be closed in the next 60 days.

 

Nubiola has been present on the Romanian market since 1992, when it bought a factory in Doicesti, Dambovita county.

 

The Romanian subsidiary posted a EUR 16 million turnover in 2013, up EUR 1 million compared to 2012. The profit amounted in 2013 to EUR 1.2 million, double over 2012.

 

Nubiola makes inorganic pigments and is the largest manufacturer of ultramarine blue in the world. Last year, the company recorded sales of EUR 119 million and increased by 4.1% in the last three years. (source: Romania-insider.com)
