According to the developer, the beneficiary of the expansion is a German investor in the electrical and electronic components industry that will open for the first time a subsidiary in Romania.

"We decided to expand this park after signing a lease agreement with a foreign investor, which opens for the first time a subsidiary in Romania. The project is a build-to-suit type, so the entire facility will be tailored to the needs and needs of the customer", explains Emilia Ţepeş, Zacaria's national sales manager.

The building will include approximately 5,000 square meters for production and storage and 1,300 square metres for office space. Construction works started this autumn, the warehouse being scheduled for delivery in March, 2018.

Western Industrial Park is located in the western industrial area of Oradea, about 9 km from the border with Hungary. The park, located on a 50,000-square-metres platform, was acquired in 2013, being 100% leased in a very short time.

"Oradea's demand for premium industrial premises is growing steadily, thanks to its strategic positioning, which offers fast access to Central Europe. We are thinking of expanding our investment portfolio in this area of the country in the near future", Emilia Ţepeş adds.
