Dutch real estate developer buys 20 hectares near Bucharest

Dutch real estate developer CTP, which has become the largest owner of industrial-logistics spaces in Romania, recently bought 20 hectares of plot near Bucharest from the Italian group Cefin.

Vabeld bought two warehouses and 15 ha land from former Cefin Real Estate shareholders

Belgian real estate investor Vabeld has bought from the former shareholders of Cefin Real Estate, the real estate division of the Italian group Cefin, two logistics warehouses situated at the Bucharest exit to Pitesti. This is the company’s second acquisition since its entrance on the local market this summer.

Immofinanz has signed a contract with Blackstone for the sale of its entire logistics portfolio. The transaction covers all 36 logistics standing investments with up to one million sqm of rentable space, which are located for the most part in Germany (24 properties) as well as in Hungary (5), Romania (3), Poland (2), Slovakia (1) and Russia (1).

Major changes in the top of the largest industrial real estate owners in Romania

The most spectacular entry in the top was the one of the Dutch company CTP. In the last half of year, the investor which studied the Romanian market for seven years became the largest logistic facilities owner in the country.

Blackstone could enter Romania by buying Immofinanz’s logistics portfolio

Logicor, the European logistics division of the global asset manager Blackstone, is in exclusive talks for acquiring the entire portfolio of logistic spaces put up for sale by Austrian real estate developer Immofinanz, including the ones in Romania.
