P3 Logistic Parks ("P3") announces the extension of the lease agreement with the transport and logistics operator SLS Cargo, which adds another 11,412 square meters to the area already leased, in a transaction brokered by JLL Romania.
The DPD courier company continues its expansion in Romania by leasing 3,500 sqm of warehouse spaces in the VGP Park Arad project, located near the A1 highway, a transaction brokered by the industrial department of the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox real estate consultancy company.
542,000 sq. m of industrial and logistics spaces were leased in H1 2022, a 50% increase compared with the same period of 2021, according to data from the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox real estate consultancy company. The volume transacted in Q2 was of approximately 240,000 sq. m, which was added to the Q1 take-up of more than 300,000 sq. m.
CTP, the largest listed developer and manager of industrial and logistics space in Continental Europe, is expanding the CTPark Craiova East industrial park with a new building that will be delivered by the end of the year and is already fully leased. The pharmaceutical group A&D Pharma – Dr.Max Group, already present in the CTP portfolio, is one of the tenants of the new warehouse.
The group of companies which owns Cupio, a Romanian brand of professional cosmetics, leased 3,200 sq. m of warehouse spaces in the CTPark Timișoara Ghiroda project, located near the Timișoara International Airport. P3 Logistic Parks receives a new tenant in the business community existing at the 13km of A1 Highway. ELBI, the leader in the Romanian low voltage electrical equipment market, will occupy over 15,000 square meters of storage and office space in P3 Bucharest A1.
The leasing of industrial and logistics spaces increased by 50% in the first quarter of 2022 compared with the same period of last year, exceeding the 300,000 square meter threshold, thus creating the premises for a new record year in terms of demand for this type of spaces, according to the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox real estate consultancy company.
