The CCIB President Sorin Dimitriu, had, in this respect, a meeting with President of the CCPIT Hebei, Zhang Lihong and with Wang Xiaoman, director at the same institution.

 

Sorin Dimitriu unveiled investment opportunities in energy sector (power plants), but also in other industrial sectors, as well as cooperation possibilities in research and education.

 

Underscoring the complementarity of the two business communities’ activity, the CCPIT Hebei president said that the companies in Romania should take advantage of the facilities offered by the 116 free-trade zones of the province in order to enter China’s market.

 

China is an important economic and commercial partner for Romania. In the first 11 months of 2014, the Romanian-Chinese trade reached 2.7 billion dollars, of which exports amounted to 520 million dollars.

 

From January to November 2014, the trend of a higher trade further increased, having recorded an 18.7% surge compared to the same period in 2013. (Source: nineoclock.ro)
