The Warehouse Development of the Year nomination is for the 100,000 m² GLA that were delivered this year in CTPark Bucharest West for clients such as: Quehenberger Logistics, Tibbett Logistics, KLG Europe Logistics Romania, Geodis, NOD etc. The new spaces are comprised in three class A warehouses and their development is in line with CTP’s strategy to expand CTPark Bucharest West in a fast rhythm in order to become the largest logistics park in Eastern Europe until 2020.

In the Warehouse Lease of the Year category, the nomination was received for the 30,000 m² GLA leased to Network One Distribution (NOD) in CTPark Bucharest West. The purchase of a logistics park in Chitila for 17 million euro was nominated as the Investment of the Year. This property is located in one of the key areas for logistics and industrial parks from the vicinity of Bucharest. The park is well connected with the capital and at the end of the year CTP will start here the construction works for 13,000 m² of new warehouse spaces that will be added to the existing 45,000 m².

Ana Dumitrache, Co-Country Head of CTP Romania since October 2016, was nominated for the Leadership of the Year award, following her active involvment in the development and implementation of CTP’s growth and consolidation plan on the local market. Due to the construction works and the purchases of new properties rapid pace, CTP estimates to reach a total leasable area of approximately 1 million m² in Romania by the end of 2018.
