The new border check point, situated at the junction between A1 (RO) and M43 (H), will be named Nădlac (RO) - Csanadpalota (H) Border Crossing Point II.

 

The border point is situated on Romanian territory, approx. 10 km from Nădlac Customs, situated on DN 7, which is currently the larger at the Hungarian border.

 

The new check point will have 20 lanes, 10 on each way, with ten double cabins with Romanian and Hungarian border policemen.

 

The area of Nădlac II point is 22 ha and is completely under camera surveillance.

Four of the lanes on each way are for cars and four for transportation vehicles,  not being included the goods transportation that need phytosanitary and veterinary and the transportation of dangerous goods. Two lanes are for coaches.

 

For the heavy traffic four weighing scales will be installed, two for each way. The parking on the country exit way has 107 parking places for trucks.

After the opening of Nădlac II, the trucks with a capacity over 7.5 tonnes won’t be allowed anymore in Nădlac I, on DN7.

Saturday also will be opened for traffic the Segment II of the Highway Nădlac-Arad, between Pecica and Arad, with a length of 16 km, including the six km opened in December 2014. (sursa: mediafax.ro)
