The National Highway Company (CNADNR) has announced that the link between the A1 Arad – Nadlac Highway and the M43/E68 Szeged – Mako – Nadlac Highway that runs toward Budapest will be completed after July 10. A decision on completing the junction will be taken at intergovernmental level.

 

A new border crossing point between Romania and Hungary will also be created on this occasion. Construction works on it are ongoing, the border crossing point being located near Nadlac. The new border crossing point will be operational by the end of next month. At the same time, CNADNR points out that at least 80 new kilometres of highway will be completed this year.

 

At the same time, according to Rador, the works on the Sebes-Turda section are back on schedule, the inauguration of the 72 kilometres being set to take place in the second half of the year. (source: nineoclock.ro)
