Decreases were recorded for the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-11.1%) and mining and quarrying (-7.7%).  In the 1.I-29.II.2016 period, industrial production (the gross series) decreased by 0.5% compared to the 1.I-28.II.2015 period due to falls in mining and quarrying (-14.7%) and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-5.0%). Manufacturing was up 0.5%. Industrial production (the series adjusted by number of working days and seasonality) in the 1.I-29.II.2016 period was down 0.5% from the 1.I-28.II.2015 period due to drops in mining and quarrying (-14.2%) and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-6.1%).
