"They bought the land last autumn with more than 3 million Euros. They intend to build there a warehouse and another factory", sources in the local administration have declared, cited by Mediafax.

In 2010, Procter&Gamble (P&G) opened in Urlati, Prahova county a factory where more than 100 million dollars were invested, being the first greenfield type investment of the group in Romania. The factory has four manufacturing lines, with 90% of the production being exported.

At that moment, the 25 ha were under concession, and the company showed that the land would insure the necessary space for a future extension of the production capacity.

P&G also awns in Romania a detergents factory in Timisoara and the marketing division. (sursa: wall-street.ro)
