The Carani silo has a capacity of reception/delivery of daily 5,000 tonnes and a total warehousing capacity of 170,000 tonnes. The investment benefits also from a railway infrastructure, connected to the electric line.

The company plans to register an annual rolling of cereals above 200,000 tonnes, making it the biggest independent storage facility for cereals in the country.

„The Carani silo has a certified laboratory for analysis. The total capacity, as well as the wide experience of the personnel and the railway infrastructure constitute important assets of the Carani silo services. We have the capacity of loading a complete train in 24 hours, in any weather conditions,” said Dan Dolghin, general director Sifi TM Agro.

The investors’ objective is to transform the Carani silo in an agri-business hub by gathering  in the same space all the functions for cereals’ trading. (source: business-review.eu)
