Built on a 50,000 sqm plot of land, the new Symmetrica production hall has a surface area of 3,500 sqm, where paving, kerbs, garden elements, masonry, etc. will be manufactured. The Ovidiu factory will produce more than 100,000 units per month, bringing the company’s total production capacity to 4,000 linear/square meters per day.

“Symmetrica has an important geographical coverage, and the South-East area of the country is already in our focus, with a significant potential for growth in both public and private projects. Also, with our entry into this region, we are ready to get actively involved in supporting local communities, as we are already doing in all the other places where we are present”, said Sebastian Bobu, CEO of Symmetrica.

According to him, the factory in Constanta county has modern, high-tech, fully automated production lines. More than 35 employees will work in the new production facility. Although the technological process is a complex one, it can be coordinated by 5-6 people per shift, and the factory’s automation is an important advantage in facilitating the employees’ work.

With the opening of the new factory, Symmetrica reaches a total of nine production units in Romania, the other eight being located in Verești – Suceava, Podul Iloaiei – Iasi, Bolintin Vale – Ilfov, Prejmer – Brasov, Cociu – Bistrita Năsăud, Mărășești – Vrancea, Zimandu Nou – Arad and Solca – Suceava.

The company thus continues its sustained pace of investment in the expansion of production capacity, both through new production lines and units, and through the incorporation of state-of-the-art technologies aimed at improving the quality, design and colouring of Symmetrica products.
