Real estate developer WDP buys 44 hectares of land near Bucharest

WarehouseDePauw (WDP), controlled by one of the richest Belgian families, buys 3 new plots of land in Ilfov County with more than 8 million euros, from the producer of Ro Star biscuits, according to Profit.ro.

CTP acquired Phoenix Logistics Center for approximately EUR 7 million

CTP, the leading premium industrial parks developer and long-term manager in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe, registered the fastest development pace in 2017, since it entered the Romanian market. One of the most important purchases near the capital is, next to Chitila Logistic Park, Phoenix Logistics Center, that was bought with approximately 7 million euro from the Dutch company LSREF3 Alpha Dutch Holdings B.V., in the second quarter of 2017.

Romania has reached a real estate investment volume of about 400 million Euros in the first half of the year, a quarter compared to Poland (1.5 billion Euros) and even farther than the Czech Republic (2 billion Euros).

CTP invests over EUR 17 million for acquiring a logistics park in Chitila

CTP, the leading premium industrial parks developer and long term manager in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe, continues its accelerated growth by acquiring a logistics park, situated in the vicinity of Bucharest, Chitila Logistic Park (CLP). The transaction was concluded in September and the value of the investment reaches EUR 17.3 million. CLP has been purchased from UBM Development, the leading European real estate developer. This acquisition is part of CTP’s strategy of reaching a total leasable area of approximately 1 million m² in Romania by the end of 2018.

Chinese group to buy meat producers from Romania

Chinese group WH will acquire two Romanian companies producing and selling cold meats- Elit SRL and Vericom SRL - the value of the transaction is not published, Reuters reports.

The Caroli Foods Group was acquired by the Sigma Alimentos International Food Group

Caroli Foods Group, a company active in packaged meat products, was taken over by Sigma Alimentos after the Mexican company bought 51 percent of Caroli's shares, adding to the 49 percent stake it already owned through Campofrio Food Group, according to a press release.

CTP Invests EUR 18 Million and Buys Two Logistics Parks In The Western Part Of The Country

Together, the properties comprise a total land area of 119,000 m², and 37,000 m² GLA. CTP’s two new logistics parks are situated in key strategic locations from the Western part of Romania: Ineu, in Arad County - an important industrial centre and transportation hub in the region - and Salonta, situated in Bihor County, very close to the Hungarian border. The two properties are the basis of the new CTPark Ineu and CTPark Salonta, and are part of CTP’s long term vision to grow and, in the same time, to consolidate its position as the player with the most important logistics portfolio at national level.

French Giant Veolia, Apa Nova Shareholder, Negotiates the Takeover of Frigotehnica Bucharest

French giant Veolia, the company which controls locally Apa Nova, Bucharest’s water and sewage provider, is currently negotiating the takeover of Frigotehnica, one of the largest production and assembly for frigorific installations in Romania, according to Ziarul Financiar.
