Băsescu rejects law concerning tax exemption for the industrial parks

According to a press release of the Presidential Administration, the law completes the Art. 20 (1) of the Law 186/2013 regarding the construction and functioning of the industrial parks, with the exemption starting from January 1st 2015 of the administrator and of the residents of the industrial park for the construction taxes included in the 1st Group from the Catalogue approved by the Government Decision no. 2,139/2004.

Romania’s government to keep flat tax of 16 percent

PM Victor Ponta said on Thursday Romania will maintain its flat corporate tax as this one of the decisions of the ruling coalition USL, adding a progressive taxation mechanism is out of question for the moment, reports Mediafax newswire.
