The EU will co-finance the studies to create better connections for the Henri Coanda Airport, the train network Brasov-Bucuresti-Slobozia-Constanta and Romania’s highway network.

Studies are part of a larger project. It includes building a multimodal terminal for freight and passenger transport in the Bucuresti-Ilfov region, at the intersection between the highway linking Constanta and Budapest and the Constanta – Nürnberg/Dresden railway train.

The European Commission has created the TEN-T project to improve transport infrastructure in the European Union. (source: Romania-insider.com)
