Industry turnover increases by 3.8pct in January-October 2016

Turnover in industry has grown 3.8pct in the first ten months of 2016, as compared to the similar period of 2015, in nominal terms, according to a release sent on Monday to Agerpres by the National Statistics Institute (INS).

Ford’s business in Romania falls under EUR 1 bln

Ford Romania, the country’s second largest carmaker, which owns a car factory in Craiova, had a turnover of EUR 912 million last year, 17% lower compared to 2013, according to its financial statements submitted to the Finance Ministry.

EY: Romanian enterprises, more optimistic about turnover growth

About 64% of Romanian medium-sized enterprises expect a turnover increase this year, compared to only 50% of the medium-sized companies in Europe. Consultancy firm EY Romania highlighted the data in a study called “A vision of growth 2015.”

Ford Romania reports EUR 15.5 mln profit in 2013 on higher sales

US car maker Ford has registered in Romania a net profit of RON 68.8 million (EUR 15.5 million) in 2013 from a loss of RON 480.9 million (EUR 108 million) in the previous year, reports Mediafax newswire.
